I remember seeing some of these moves. Crazy how rarely this happens now because they mainly hold trains at certain points until a derailment is cleaned up.

I also remember watching the bridge lift to pass large ships to pass under into the river.

I lived in Brookpark from 1959 to 1965, and close to Berea. We used to ride our bikes to Berea and stop at Whitey's Army and Navy store that sold military things and bought things like P38 can openers. We moved to the west side of Cleveland in 1965 and close to the tracks that went from Collinwood across the lift bridge at the mouth of the Cuyahoga river where it entered Lake Erie and also ran by the Cleveland airport and into Berea.

This is absolutely amazing, this is really cool. I saw the same operation on the closest tracks and 2 CSX manifests appeared in the distance, and they were extra cool because they were working while the 2 trains went by.
